Brian Ejsing has been appointed as the new Managing Director of DSV Solutions. Ejsing has been with DSV since 1986 and held the position of Managing Director of DSV Road in the Netherlands since 2008 as well as Managing Director of DSV Road Germany since 2009.
Ejsing has replaced Anton van Beers who wished to step down from the role. A company statement said "Anton was an important part of the integration process of Frans Maas back in 2006 and has successfully developed the DSV Solutions organisation since then."

and then served as Chief Operating Officer for Agility Europe. Jaeger is
located at Agility's Basel, CH, Area West office.

Kansas City Southern (KCS) has announced the appointment of Michael J. Naatz as senior vice president and chief information officer with responsibility for information technology and business planning. Naatz will report to KCS president and chief executive officer David L. Starling.
"Mike is a great addition to the KCS team," said Starling. "His extensive transportation leadership experience will enhance our information technology efforts and business planning capabilities."
Naatz has 18 years of transportation experience. He joins KCS from USF Holland, a YRC Worldwide company, where he served as president for the last year. Since USF was acquired by YRCW in 2005, he held the position of chief information and service officer, as well as a variety of other leadership positions for YRCW, including customer service and enterprise management. Prior to the acquisition, he held similar positions with USF over 11 years.

Damco has announced it has divided its European operations into two regions, East and West Europe. As a result, the company has appointed Nicholas Kyrzakos as its new CEO of the Eastern Europe region. Kyrzakos moves from the position of global CFO.
"The complexity of the European markets is large and diverse and in order to be successful in these markets there is a need to work with quite different strategies between the more mature and the growth markets", Damco CEO Rolf Habben-Jansen commented.
"I am happy that Nicholas has agreed to take responsibility as CEO of Eastern Europe and I am confident that this will ensure efficient decision making and a high level of focus", added Habben-Jansen.
Flemming Frost remains as CEO of West Europe.

As part of SBS Worldwide's senior management team, Klausing will support the development of the company's growth in the Midwest region in key markets and new industry verticals. Klausing will be based at SBS Worldwide's Chicago office and will report directly to Christian Marz, Director of Operations USA.
Lars Kloch, USA Managing Director, said: "I would personally like to welcome John to the SBS Worldwide team. He will play a key role in implementing our global business development plan and ensuring that we meet growth targets in our Midwest region. John has proven leadership abilities with a track record of developing and executing local and regional business plans as well as developing, monitoring and improving operational procedures that deliver customer satisfaction."
In total, John Klausing has almost 30 years' experience in the transport and logistics industry. He has held a variety of management, sales and operational roles, most recently working for a leading global freight forwarder.
As part of his appointment, SBS Worldwide's current Regional Vice President of Operations, Midwest USA, Andrew Poll, will become Regional Vice President Business Development, Midwest USA. In his new role, Poll is tasked with identifying new business opportunities and expanding the level of service provided to existing customers.
The appointments are part of the restructuring of the company's USA business to drive enhanced flexibility and bespoke services at a regional level.

PostNL has announced that Harry Koorstra, CEO of PostNL, has decided to resign his position with immediate effect.
"Such a decision doesn't get made overnight. The cooperation with the Supervisory Board has been very cumbersome of late, amongst others in relation to differences in opinion about how to serve best the various stakeholders' interests. Under these circumstances, giving the challenges the company faces, I cannot and will not continue in the role. I am leaving without any compensation as I consider principles to be of paramount importance," said Harry Koorstra.
Piet Klaver, Chairman of the Supervisory Board said: "We regret Harry's departure. During more than twenty years Harry has made a significant contribution in often very challenging circumstances."
The Supervisory Board intends to appoint Herna Verhagen, member of the Board of Management and responsible for Parcels and International, as the new CEO of PostNL. Verhagen has almost twenty years' experience within PostNL. She has held a variety of positions, with a focus on customers and employees, such as Commercial Director and Group Director HR. "We are convinced that Herna is the right successor looking at the challenges PostNL currently faces," announced Piet Klaver.

Brambles has announced the appointment of Jason Rabbino as Group President, Containers. In this newly created role, Rabbino will lead Brambles' global Containers business segment. Rabbino will join Brambles on May 21, 2012 and will be based in Atlanta, Georgia. He will report to Brambles' Chief Executive Officer Tom Gorman and be a member of the Brambles Executive Leadership Team.
Rabbino joins Brambles from diversified industrial company, Tyco International, at which he is presently Senior Vice President of Enterprise Solutions. He was previously a senior executive in Tyco's ADT electronic security solutions business. Prior to joining Tyco in 2008, Rabbino spent three years as a senior executive at managed services company Aramark Corporation, six years with management consultancy firm McKinsey & Company and nine years as an officer in the United States Navy.
Tom Gorman said: "Jason's appointment is an important step for Brambles as we implement our strategy of product and service diversification, which includes our commitment to increase our Containers service offering in key industries. Jason will provide global leadership for the Containers segment at an exciting time, when we are already delivering strong growth as a result of the investments we have made over the past 18 months and strong returns in our more developed Containers service lines."
Brambles Containers segment comprises the company's Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC) operations, including the CAPS business acquired in February 2011; CHEP's operations serving the Automotive sector; the CHEPO Catalyst & Chemical Container business; and CHEP Aerospace Solutions.

CEVA has appointed Izaskun Barquin as its Business Development Director in Spain and Portugal. Barquin will be responsible for implementing CEVA's Business Development strategy for both countries, reporting to Marco Galbusera, Managing Director of CEVA in Iberia.
Barquin began her logistics career ten years ago with Exel, where she held various roles in the automotive sector for six years. Barquin continued her career as Healthcare Business Development Manager EMEA at DHL Supply Chain and joined CEVA in 2008 as Business Development Manager for the consumer, retail and healthcare sectors. In 2010, Barquin was appointed Global Key Account Manager for global customers in the consumer and retail sector.
Marco Galbusera, Managing Director, CEVA in Iberia, said: "We are delighted to appoint Izaskun as Business Development Director. Damian Bishop has 30 years' experience in the Australian logistics industry in operational, sales and general management roles. During his career he spent 12 years with TNT Express and eight years with Ansett Australia. Bishop joined Toll in 2002 and worked in various sales roles including National Sales Manager for Toll Fast and General Manager of Group Business Development – Australia.

Aramex has announced that Fadi Ghandour, the company's founder and CEO, is set to retire by the end of 2012. Ghandour will be succeeded by Hussein Hachem, who currently holds the position of head of the Middle East and Africa regions.
Announcing his retirement from the role of CEO at the company's annual conference, Ghandour declared, "There is no better time than this 30th anniversary of Aramex, capping an astounding journey of challenges and achievements, to propose that you and I are ready for yet another leap. I have always maintained that the best part of building a company is to build it for and with others, to make it a platform for collective ambition and innovation. Looking at you and the team that has been helping me make Aramex the fantastic place it is today, I know that I have fulfilled my promise and that the day-to-day running of the company, under the leadership of Hussein Hachem, is in very capable hands."
Hachem started his 20-year career at Aramex straight after graduating from college, re-establishing operations in Kuwait after the 1991 Gulf War. He then took on the role of General Manager in Kuwait, Sri Lanka then the United Arab Emirates. In 2005, Hachem was promoted to Vice President for the UAE and Oman, and then to CEO of Gulf Cooperation Council Countries. For the past two years, he has served as the CEO of the Middle East and Africa, managing the largest revenue generating markets for the company.

Tung will also continue to be an Executive Director and a member of the Executive Committee of Orient Overseas (International) Ltd. (OOIL), the parent company of OOCL, and the Managing Director and a member of the Executive Committee of OOCL.
A company statement said: "Philip Chow has been with the OOIL Group for over 36 years and has played a critical role in shaping the company's strategic direction and culture that has led the Group from strength to strength under his leadership. The Group thanks Philip Chow for his invaluable contributions and guidance to the Group and wishes him our very best in this retirement. But we are very fortunate to have his continual support and active participation in the Group's strategic issues in his capacity as the Non-Executive Director of OOIL."
Andy Tung has served the Group in various capacities, including as Director of Reefer Trade of OOCL between 1993 and 1998. He re-joined the Group in 2006 and was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer in January 2009.
